Road Trip 2017: Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C. was the first stop on our road trip from Pennsylvania to Florida. It was a great time. On the first night we checked out Capitol Hill and happened upon my cousin Sage–she’s from Texas! On the second day, we walked through the National Museum of Natural History and the National Air and Space Museum, stopped by the White House, admired the Washington Monument, and climbed the Lincoln Memorial. It was an altogether cleaner, more organized, and better-smelling experience than our previous trips to New York City, and we plan to return someday to get a broader perspective on the nation’s capital. Now, on to Wilmington!
